Jennie C. Ayres MSM, Chair:
The Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services, Conference Planner and Adjunct Professor in Hospitality Management at Atlantic Cape Community College and Fairleigh Dickenson University. Certified Business Retention / Expansion and Strategic Business Leadership Consultant. Jennie draws on a lifetime of experience in assisting nonprofits and businesses meet and exceed their potential by creating partnerships and enhancing their performance and improving their productivity.
Lucas E. MacFarlane, Vice Chair:
Aleta M. Graham, Secretary:
Ms. Graham comes from a multi-generational family homesteaded within Hamilton Township with lineage back to the Lenape Native American peoples. She has owned multiple successful businesses locally and had previously served as Recreation Director and Board Member for the Hamilton Township Soccer program. Ms. Graham graduated from Atlantic Community College, earning an associate degree via the Pre-Law program. She completed decades of pointed continued education classes through the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA/AAJ). Ms. Graham worked 25 years as a senior plaintiff’s paralegal, specializing in complex litigation, and worked on many high-profile cases. She then moved into defense work at the municipal level for several JIFs throughout seven counties including the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (ACMJIF), Burlington County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (BURLCOJIF), Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland Counties Joint Insurance Fund (TRICOJIF), Atlantic and Cape May Counties Association of School Business Officials Joint Insurance Fund (ACCASBO JIF), Burlington County Insurance Pool Joint Insurance Fund (BCIP JIF) and Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem School Districts Joint Insurance Fund (GCSSD JIF). She is now self-employed wherein she rehabilitates all parts of purchased residential properties.
Janet T. Nickels, Treasurer:
Janet T. Nickels was appointed as an alternate member in 2019 and a regular member in 2021.
Ms. Nickels retired as a senior executive from South Jersey Gas Company
after 30 years working in managing and directing numerous aspects of the
utility including customer service, divisional operations, public
relations and other administrative services. Ms. Nickels also served as
the SJG and SJI company liaison for several industry, civic, community
and volunteer organizations throughout the southern New Jersey area as a
member, advisor and chairperson.
Francis A. Tomasello, Esq., Board Member:
Frank Tomasello was appointed to the HTMUA Board in 2012. Mr. Tomasello is a graduate of the Richard Stockton University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Science and Rutgers School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate. While attending Law School, Mr. Tomasello served as Research Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and authored an article on the regulation of radio antennae which was selected for publication. Mr. Tomasello previously served as Chair of the HTMUA, Chairman on the Township of Hamilton Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Township of Hamilton Property Maintenance Appeals Board and as Chairman of the Township of Hamilton Historic Preservation Commission.
Dr. Warren Gerald Nelson, Alternate #1
Jerry Nelson graduated from Stockton University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Stockton University where he received his Master in Computational Science, and Stockton University where he earned his Doctoral Degree in Organizational Leadership. Jerry also serves on the Hamilton Township School Board, Alternate on Township of Hamilton Veterans board, and Co-Chair of Hamilton Township PTA Grant Committee. Additionally, Jerry served in the United States Coast Guard Active Duty for 8 years.
Charles Robert Fink, Alternate #2
Robert Fink earned an Associate’s in Arts Degree in Education from Atlantic Community College, and an additional 70 credits from Glassboro State College while majoring in Health and Physical Education, minoring in Elementary Education. He became an elementary school teacher for St. Joseph School in Hammonton, NJ. While at St. Joseph’s, Robert served as both the Varsity Baseball and Cross-Country coach. Robert went on to become Regional Sales Manager for 7UP Bottle Company, in Philadelphia, moving into the restaurant and tavern industry. He helped open the Brighton (Sands) Hotel Casino and served as Manager of the Food and Beverage Department for 6 years. Robert left the casino industry to become Director of Human Resources and Safety Officer at Ocean Yachts, Egg Harbor City, where he remained for the following 26 years. He enjoyed a fulfilling and rewarding career there with noted achievements including: a random drug test program; writing the employee handbook; OSHA training certificate for Supervisors; and acting as liaison for the company with County, State and Federal Government agencies that included OSHA and the EPA. Never one to not push himself further, Robert went back to college and earned a Certification as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, subsequently working for the local endocrinologist until his retirement. Robert has served his community as an Officer of the Cologne Volunteer Fire Company, a Steward for NJ Natural Lands Trust (Pomona Woods Preserve), a member of the Hamilton Township Planning Board, and now a member of the Hamilton Township MUA.
